Member Stories

Building Financial Confidence Through Collective Savings

For me, managing finances while balancing work, caring responsibilities, and rising living costs often felt overwhelming. Being part of Ember and Oak has completely changed the way I plan and save. Through the ROSCA, I was able to access a lump sum to fund home renovations and pay for a family holiday, using my own money and without relying on loans or high-interest credit.

The structure of collective saving helped me stay disciplined and plan ahead, something I had struggled to do with mainstream financial products. Beyond the financial benefits, the sense of trust and community has been just as important.
